Blackwater Garden Centre is one of the leading Garden Centres in West Waterford, nestled on a hill overlooking Youghal Bay, close to the Waterford Cork border. Every week we run a gardening workshop, on Sunday at 12 noon. All the workshop are free of charge you don't need to book. Just turn up!

Waterford Garden Festival
The Waterford Garden Festival runs from Tuesday May 1st to Sunday 13th May. As our contribution to the festival we are holding a series of Children’s workshops.

Suitable for 7 - 10 year olds, places are limited so booking is essential (ring 024-92725 to book) Workshops are free but any donations to the Jack and Jill Foundation are welcome.

Farmers Market
It's Spring Time at Blackwater and this Saturday, we will be spoiled with gorgeous treats. Mary Kay will have her delicious Spinach Dip and party mix, as well as a new main course she's trying out... Phil has her usual delicious lamb burgers and of course our selection of cheeses, breads and honey are always there. Join us from 10-1pm every Saturday and munch your way around, while stocking up your larder for the week.
At Blackwater, we've been growing our own food for many years. We've always felt that food is possibly the most important thing to nourish our bodies, along with beautiful gardens to feed our souls! Since last July we have been running a weekly Farmers Market every Saturday morning from 10-1pm. We have free tea and coffee and music too, so come along and join us any Saturday morning from 10am.

Workshops in May!
The Waterford Garden Trail group of gardens will present a garden festival between 1 and 13 May this year. Blackwater are delighted to be taking part, by running FREE children's workshops.
